  24. I'm attempting to compile C-Kermit on a DECstation 3100 running a full
  25. installation of Ultrix 4.4.  I'm new to ULTRIX (UNIX in general really)
  26. and am having difficulty getting the program to make.
  27.
  28. After extracting the source files, I ran:
  29.
  30. make ultrix42
  31.
  32. as the ckuins.doc file indicated was appropriate for Ultrix 4.2 and up.
  33.
  34. I get the following error:
  35.
  36. -------------------------------------------------------------
  37. cc: Error, no source, object or ucode file specified
  38. **** Error code 2
  39.
  40. Stop.
  41. *** Error code 1
  42.
  43. Stop.

  45.
  46. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?  i can't find any
  47. reference to this problem in any of the documentation files included in
  48. the distribution.
